This is the first appearance of Red Ilsa. Much like the joke from the last strip, she also came out of the card game I was developing. One of the comments I got in playtesting was that there weren’t any female characters, so I began the process of creation that resulted in Red Ilsa. Unfortunately I haven’t gotten around to using her in anything until now. She’s got a role in an upcoming story, although I don’t know when I’ll get to it.

You may have noticed that this update is much earlier in the day than usual. It’s a result of me being prepared for this Wednesday’s craziness, as opposed to last Wednesday which I was totally unprepared for. On the plus side, it’s the good kind of craziness.
