This is the first page in a while that I’ve finished early (I finished it last night). Coming up with a resolution for Nixon’s story trhead took quite a while. Not as long as figuring out how to end Dirk’s story, but still quite a while. My characters tend not to go down in a blaze of glory so much as an embarrassing fizzle. And in this case, a horn honk. Although now that I’m thinking about it, I kind of wish that I had given Dirk the Head’s car one of those cheesy novelty horns to go along with his porno music phone ring.
