Johnny Mushface’s plan to coerce the gang leaders into going along with his plan was inspired by some lyrics in the song “Death March” by Immortal Technique. Specifically, the line “you’ve got a contract to kill me? Motherfucker that’s fine, there’s a contract to kill your family when I die”. The contracts were originally going to be on the gang members’ families, but they seemed like the type that could be coerced easily enough just by threatening them personally. The fifth panel (the one tilted diagonally) too a long time to draw. Theoretically it should be as easy as tilting the entire piece of paper and drawing the panel normally, but it didn’t quite work that way. I kept accidentally tilting it too far while I was drawing and screwing it up.
