Captain Impressive kneeing Charlie No-Aim in the face was inspired by watching a significant amount of K-1 kickboxing on the Fight Network around the time that I was drawing this (which was January/February of 2007). You don’t see a lot of Thai knees get thrown in comics, which is too bad because they’re fun to draw.
