All I had in my head when I started this one was that I wanted G-Fresh to leave the sewers with the magic mushrooms. Having a truck hit him when he poked his head out of the manhole kind of just happened.

Edmonton Oilers GM Steve Tambellini announced today that the Oilers have officially ended pursuit of a trade with Ottawa for whiny winger Dany Heatley. I’m very pleased with that, because maybe now I won’ t have to hear about it anymore. Ah, who am I kidding, the whole Douchey Heatley story is still going to be beaten beyond death. It figures that the free agent coup of signing Nikolai Khabibulin is pretty much entirely ignored in place of endless speculation on the trade that didn’t happen.
