Rent-A-Thug #150 – Rules For Criminal Success #16
And with this post, Rent-A-Thug celebrates its sesquicentennial. I learned that word from Futurama, and how to spell it from Dictionary.com. Yay for learning!
I can’t remember the process of coming up with this one, aside from thinking that if you haul enough dead bodies around in your trunk you might forget that you’ve got one back there once in a while. Why yes, I do have a twisted sense of humour. This particular car design has become my go-to. It’s from Grand Theft Auto IV, but I can’t remember what they call it in the game. I first used it in this illustration and have used it a couple of times since then.
My buffer is starting to dwindle again due to a whole bunch of other comic work eating up my time, so it looks like I’ll probably be finishing off the Rules For Criminal Success series in the next few weeks to rebuild it. There will be 110 Rules strips in total, and as of this post I’ve drawn 101 of them. Once all of the strips are complete (and a couple of them that I dislike are re-done) they’ll be collected into a book. I don’t know when that’ll happen, probably not for a while. It’s going to have to be in a weird format because the strips are short but very wide, so I’m going to have to search around a find a printer that can do that easily at a decent price.
You might have noticed that this post is earlier than usual. I’m playing in a staff D&D game with my co-workers and our first game is tonight. I have no idea how a nine person adventuring party is going to accomplish anything, but at least we’ll be entertaining in our failures.
Thanks for reading, see you on Wednesday!
