Rent-A-Thug #101 – Rules For Criminal Success #11

This strip was inspired by the chorus of the song “Pages in Blood” by Army of the Pharaohs. Walt is packing an MP-15 CT, which is based on a Heckler and Koch MP5KA5. The design was pretty much worked out while drawing the strip. I think it needs a little bit more work.

The Guest Art Gallery went up on Wednesday, and can be found in the sidebar. If you want your Rent-A-Thug related art in there you should send your files (preferably in jpg format) to jeff@rentathugcomics.com.

In other news, I should be receiving the proof for Rent-A-Thug: First Offence on Tuesday morning, which I’m very excited about. It’s looking like the final product should be ready in time for the Edmonton Collectible Toy and Comics Show, which is very good since otherwise I’ll be sitting there like a jackass with just the small number of hats that are left. I’m also in the process of setting up a less ridiculously complex system for selling stuff online. It’s not really a high priority until the book is available, though. Hopefully my new plan doesn’t stop making sense halfway through like the last attempt at an online store did.

Thanks for reading, have a good weekend. I’m working on something a little different for next week’s updates, hopefully you’ll enjoy it.
