Rent-A-Thug #35 – Rules For Criminal Success #80

This strip is the first appearance of Charlie No-Aim, although he was actually the first Rent-A-Thug character that was created (except that he was created before Rent-A-Thug was). Charlie No-Aim was created as sort of a throwaway character in the original newspaper strip run of Frank Baron, NSO when Colonel Cozalien is looking for a discount hitman. It never saw print (the original Frank Baron run only lasted about 8 strips and Charlie didn’t appear until the 27th strip or so).

Unrelatedly, I picked up the Half-Life 2 Orange Box earlier this week, and it’s freakin’ sweet. If anybody wants to throw down on some Team Fortress 2 over Xbox Live send an email to jeff@rentathugcomics.com. It’s so much fun that I don’t even care that I kind of suck.

See you on Monday, folks, enjoy your weekends.
