Frank Baron

FRANK BARON

Age: 36 years

Hometown: Del Ray, Zinkland

Occupation: NSO Special Agent

Affiliation: National Security Organization

A Special Agent in the National Security Organization, Frank Baron may be the most powerful booze-hound in Zinkland. The stresses of constant field work led Frank to take comfort in the bottom of the bottle, a sentiment which was only exacerbated when his wife left him several years ago.

Despite his alcoholic exploits Frank is still considered one of the premier agents in the NSO and is frequently deployed to deal with threats to national security that a more sober man would collapse in the face of. Armed and belligerent, Frank is a message to those who would do harm to Zinkland that the government is prepared to drop the hammer at a moment’s notice, and when they do it’s not going to be pretty.

Dan Mills

DAN MILLS

Age: 27 years

Hometown: Lyonsboro, Zinkland

Occupation: NSO Agent

Affiliation: National Security Organization

Dan Mills graduated from the NSO training academy near the top of his class but was ultimately unprepared for the realities of the job. Agent Mills was well-schooled in the technologies and procedures of the NSO but nobody said anything about the “shoot first and don’t bother to ask questions” ethos that he found permeating the Organization in practice. Partnering Mills with Special Agent Baron was Director Cochrane’s way of giving the young man a crash-course in the brutal reality of the job.

Immortal Tec’Niq

THE IMMORTAL TEC’NIQ

Age: Unknown

Hometown: Unknown, but assumed to be somewhere in the Wasteland.

Occupation: Terrorist, Cult Leader, or Freedom Fighter, depending on who you ask.

Affiliation: The Sacred Order of Hchma’Hcha

The NSO has been unable to gather much information on the Immortal Tec’Niq, a highly dangerous terrorist wanted dead or alive by the government of Zinkland. It is known that Tec’Niq has revived the Sacred Order of Hchma’Hcha, a religious warrior-cult dating back to the ninth century, and has molded them into a terrorist organization with the goal of freeing the Wasteland from the oppressive omnipresence of the armies of Zinkland and Rosha, who have used the Wasteland as a battlefield for their wars in the last decade (and were, not coincidentally, originally responsible for the nuclear devastation that resulted in the moniker “the Wasteland”). Originally supplied by the government of Zinkland who thought to use them as guerillas against the Roshans, Tec’Niq has declared war on the Zinklanders after weapons shipments were cut off to prevent the government from provoking the further hostilities of the Roshans.
