At some point during 2006 the Gateway Comics section added 3.5″x5″ single panel comics to the usual 2″x10″ ones. I think Rent-A-Thug was one of the only comics to appear in both formats, thanks to this comic (and another that I’ll posting on Thursday). The sternum-lodged pipe was probably superhero-inflicted. Coming up with a one panel joke is actually a lot harder than I had anticipated. Some of the Rules For Criminal Success probably could have been done in one panel, but trying to think up material specifically for the one panel format was tough (which is probably why I only did two of them before returning my focus to the strips and stories).

Also, I’ll be posting updates Monday through Friday this week, as a thank you for your patience over the last two weeks of moving the site. It was a gigantic hassle, but now it’s done and I can post comics again. Hurray!
