Rent-A-Thug #32 – After Hours With Walt

This one was the first appearance of Walt and ended up dictating a lot about his personality. He’ll be showing up in one of the short stories in the moderately-far-away-future. I’ve got a Dirk the Head story and a Mr. Nixon story on deck before Walt gets the spotlight. Which reminds me I should probably finish scripting the Dirk the Head and Mr. Nixon stories.

Comic Talks 2007 at Pure Speculation was a hoot. I sat in on three of the four panels, and all of them were a ton of fun. Especially the “True Golden Age of Comics”, in which comic scholars pretty much argued about what the best era was for an hour and a half. Sadly, no furniture was thrown.

Speaking of Pure Spec, the flyers that I put in the Pure Spec promo pack seem to be doing their job, as I’ve gotten fifty or so new readers in the last couple of days. Welcome to the comic, folks, and I’ll see you tomorrow with another page.
