Rent-A-Thug #260 – The Rabbit Hole part 3
This arc is pretty much entirely about weird, awkward conversations. If you don’t get the owl thing, take a look at the title and the villain’s silhouette and it’ll probably make sense. I’m not sure where the parking stub thing came from, but it was so completely absurd that I couldn’t resist using it. I mean, goons have to get to work somehow, and buses don’t go way out into the middle of nowhere, so they must be parking somewhere. And apparently Rabbitor was having issues with owls in his parking area.
Inking this one felt super-shaky. I’ve gotten two three hour chunks of sleep between now and one in the afternoon yesterday, and also consumed more sugary food products than usual in that period. I think it turned out okay, but it was pretty slow-going.
I think I’m going to try to fit in drawing a new banner for the site tomorrow. Might get started on Mighty Mugg Charlie No-Aim, too. I’ve been making good, steady progress on Hockeypocalypse, so I think I might take some time to work on some one-off drawings I’ve been wanting to get to. I’ve also got a new illustration to post on Wednesday. It’s an Unknown Soldier piece. I also want to do a Guerillas piece at some point in the near future. I’ve had an idea for a piece since I started reading it but haven’t had time to get around to drawing it. Monkeys packing Springfield rifles and hand grenades? Yes, please.
Thanks for reading, see you Friday!
