Rent-A-Thug #225 – Two Crooks, a Croc, and a Fine Pair of Shoes part 11
Speed lines and violence. WHEEEE! Making these characters look like they’re hitting each other with a lot of force can be tough because they don’t have actual limbs. They pretty much have to put their whole body into it to make something look powerful. Speed lines and big sound effects help, too. The big kick in the face was tougher to draw than the pistol smack because of the way the characters’ hands and feet attach to their bodies. I tend to be pretty loose with their hands, but their feet don’t have a lot of range-of-motion for things like kicking. I mean, they CAN kick, it just looks stupid. Hence the big pro wrestling stomp instead.
Thanks for reading, see you Friday!
