I finished the inks on this page about an hour ago. Other than the first tier of panels I did all of it today. It took me a long, long time to come up with anything resembling a transition between this sequence and the next one. It also turned out to be nicely timed, since those kind of things work fairly well with the weekend split. It also took me a while to figure out what a younger Squidgy would look like. I pretty much just removed the lines under his eyes, added a little bit more hair, and stuck him in a leisure suit. Then had him charge through a wall. Which didn’t require much thinking at all.

Monday marks page 200, for those of you who, like me, don’t like doing math. I’m slightly amazed by that. It certainly doesn’t feel like I’ve been at this for 200 pages.
