This strip was an attempt to see how cinematic of a fight scene I could fit into the format. It was also my first attempt at rain effects. I think that, in all, it turned out pretty well. Things turn out less well for Edgar Jones who ends up on the wrong end of a superhero punch to the head. This might be the first time The Wombat has showed up in a capacity other than being whomped on by Squidgy, but I’m too tired and lazy to look it up. 

Tomorrow night I’m being interviewed for a new local small press newsletter that is one of the first results of the meeting in Red Deer that I mentioned earlier. I’m pretty excited about that, especially since it wasn’t even my suggestion. I’ll have more news about how that went on Friday’s update. I should also have some news about some upcoming print work in the next week and a half or so.
