Rent-A-Thug #52 – Rules For Criminal Success #42
This is the first reference to Rent-A-Thug Labs. The idea for that organization was a sort of mad scientists club that served as something like a criminal research and development department. A lab where the mad grad student could cut his teeth in criminal science, if you will. Charlie No-Aim is also at his most articulate in this strip. I liked the idea of him speaking more eloquently while in tremendous pain, although that hasn’t really stuck.
Also, some of you may note the much earlier update time than usual. That’s because I have a mountainous paper to finish and don’t want to forget to update in the midst of all that forced learning.
