This strip is the first appearance of both Edgar Jones (on the left with the stubbly beard) and Rastovich (on the right with the machine pistols) in the strip format. At this point Rastovich had a different name and a different personality. Well, sort of different. The whole “homicidal maniac” thing was still there, but that was the only quality that he’s retained from his original version. His scars are also in a different pattern here, which was changed mostly because I think the new pattern looks better.

So tomorrow I’m off to Pure Speculation, so I thought I’d drop some last-minute knowledge on any of you who may be planning to attend.

1. The World of Webcomics panel that I’m participating in as part of Comic Talks 2007 starts at 11 AM and should be pretty awesome.

2. Merchandise! The Rent-A-Thug baseball caps are selling for $30 and both the Charlie No-Aim and G-Fresh prints are going for $5 each. There’s also a convention special: a hat and both prints for $35! Get ’em while supplies last. All prices in Canadian dollars.
