Nixon pretty much encapsulates my thoughts on this strip. I threw in some plugs for other comics in the background, which I don’t do all that often (aside from the Holiday Men). I mentioned Galaxion and The Battle of Dovecote Crest in the last “Comics you should be reading” post, and stuck them into the background when I couldn’t think of a sign joke while I was drawing the strip.
