That’s what Fresh gets for not bothering with a belt. The other guy is one of the cases, that I’ve pointed out a couple of times before, where I use a character that isn’t one of the regular cast members. I wanted a mafia type guy for this strip but none of the regulars really fit the bill so I came up with the design for this guy. His design is also one of the few cases where I designed a character with a non-solid tie. Can’t remember why I gave him a striped tie, but I recently went back to the non-solid well for a strip involving some gangster penguins. Yes, there are gangster penguins. They don’t see a lot of use but they’re there. World building results in a lot of stuff being created to flesh out the universe that doesn’t necessarily ever come up in the process of story-telling. The gangster penguin strip will be showing up twenty pages or so from now.
